Pancakes

I found this fabulous pancake recipe on a blog , My Charming kids. It was too good to not try and the recipe turned out great I just had to pass it along..

Here is what you will need:
2 cups regular pancake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup flax seed meal
1/2 cup almond butter
1 banana
1 tsp flax seed oil
1 egg
1/3 cup plain yogurt( I used vanilla soy as it is what I had)
1/4 cup honey
dash of cinnamon

mix pancake mix, flax seed meal and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.

Blend in blender almond butter, flax seed oil, egg, honey and yogurt

Mix the wet and dry together, add the water.

The pancakes take a little longer than usual to cook.

As suggested by MckMamma, I squished the leftover pancakes together into a pan, and cut them into wedges the next day for a snack, drizzling honey on them. Enjoy!
