"Here cousin want a dead crab?"
Looking for crabs and sea stars is so much fun
My mom is a 1st grade teacher. A few of you have probably had her for your kindergarten teacher years ago. Today was their field trip to the Tide pools in Edmonds. The 1st graders and their 6Th grade buddies loaded a bus and headed down to the water. Logan and I joined them and it was so much fun. My sister Shay, my niece Hayden my sister Lara and my niece Addsion also came. Outings with the 3 kids together are so much fun. After getting soaked, finding many creatures and having a picnic lunch we headed home.We quickly got changed and headed to church to swim in the newly opened , zero entry, indoor pool! What a perfect day!

Looks like you guys had a blast! Adorable pictures!
My cousin has a blog and on his sidebar he's got "sayings of the day" with quotes from famous people. Today there was one I really liked from Agatha Christie which says "One of the luckiest things that can happen to you in life is, I think, to have a happy childhood."
How true that rings since we carry our fond childhood memories with us for our whole lives and those happy memories come to the surface with such power all these years later. I think I'm going to blog about that today, but I mention it here because you are creating so many happy memories for Logan with all of your wonderful adventures. 40 years from now when he visits the tide pools, it will probably tug at his heartstrings and bring back a flood of happy childhood memories! Even dead crabs will make him happy!!!! ;)
We did that school trip this year with our girls, it is such great fun!! Looks like you all had a fab time too! Wish we could have been there:)
