Yesterday we had a hand appointment to see how Logan's hand is doing. We just LOVE the new doctor. He seemed a little surprised by the swelling at Logan's knuckle. So to make a long story short, Logan will have a 3rd hand surgery. Dr. Friedrich will remove the soft tissue. This is "elective cosmetic" surgery so there is no need to do it now. The plan is to wait until Logan has his hip surgery(around age 5) and have Dr. Mosca and Dr.Friedrich do it together. This way Logan only needs to go under once.
I'm frustrated. I want the surgeries to be done. Thankfully this should be the last.
I think his hand looks great now, such a difference from before the surgeries. I didn't post pictures of his hand after the first surgery as many of you know I am very upset with the way it looked, part of me "moving on" is not talking about it, letting it be the past. We are very happy with his hand now, it is perfect!
