Today I had lunch with a very good friend of mine, Stacy. Stacy and I grew up together. Her family lived a few doors down from our house. Stacy and I have been in the same class grade 1-6. We did girl scouts together and Stacy's mom was the troop leader. In 7th grade Stacy's family moved and we lost contact for a couple of years. I moved into my Dad and Carol's house, and it was across the road from Stacy's house! We kept in touch for many more years and then Stacy went Westpoint. She graduated and their her many journeys began. I ran into Stacy's dad in QFC just before Brad and I got married and Stacy and I reconnected again. Stacy has gone to war, more than once and moved around-Germany, Missouri. Stacy is now out of the military-YEAH!!!!She got a great job doing medical sales and begins her new Job next month. It's so great, no matter how much times passes, or the adventures we go on, Stacy and I always catch up right where we left off. That's what true friends are all about. I wish her new job was in Seattle but I know she will be back her someday. I had a wonderful time visiting and I hope to hang out a few more times before she leaves.
