Co-sleeping

Most people know that in our house we co-sleep. This means all three of us share a bed. We recently got Logan a toddler bed. He has taken naps in it, just not slept in there during the night. We tried it, he did fine, we did not.
We get so much pressure from people to "get Logan into his own bed." Why? Why do people care? We have decide to not let what other people think influence our decisions on parenting. Sure, we would love advice but co-sleeping is one thing we strongly feel should happen.
The other day we got a Christmas card from a family I have babysat for many years. This family is a wonderful family, who parent with love and patience. I have learned so much from them. Their daughter is amazing, so smart, kind and creative. I saw them about 5 months ago, when I got their Christmas card I nearly cried. There was a picture of their daughter, a little girl I didn't recognize as the picture wasn't of a little girl but a young lady. This little girl has grown up to be a young lady over night. It hit me, time goes way to fast. Before I know it, Logan won't even want a good night kiss.He will turn off his own light and go to sleep.
We choose to co-sleep. We choose to cherish every second we get to cuddle. We appreciate this time as it will be over before we know it.
